Right now my schedule is pretty crazy. I am working about 35 hours a week at Iowa Lakes Community College as the Wrestling/Housing Graduate Assistant. we are doing a lot of recruiting right now and planning workouts, etc. We leave for Fargo, ND next week to look at some kids at Junior Nationals. That should be a really good time. I have been going in from about 8-11:30am, then, driving back to Graettinger to train a few kisd and lift myself. Then, I come back to the college at around 2:30 to finish my work until about 5 or 6. At that point I go back to Graettinger to train some more clients and try to squeeze in a round of golf haha. That is really what it looks like every day (and on tuesday/thursday we wrestle from 4-5pm at the college). I have been training some athletes before work as well on certain days. Makes for a busy schedule, but, I love every aspect of what I have been doing.
Because of the crazy schedule I’ve decided to do a bit of a different split for my own training. I am going to lift on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. So, I have monday and friday off. It seems a bit weird, but, I figure I will have the most energy on saturdays and sundays without the workload. This way training can still be a focus of mine in the future and be given at least a decent percentage of my time while still making a living. I’ll keep everyone updated on how it is going at least!
