One thing I have always struggled with is consistency in my training. A lot of this is because I put the most pressure on myself, and, when things go bad I bash myself. I basically “check out” so to speak. This is something I realized was a weakness and have really made it my main focus recently. I’ve tried to bring a lot of consistency to the table during my training, and it is starting to pay off. Sure, I still have my good days and my bad days, but I don’t have my HORRIBLE days like I used to.
My tip to the new lifters out there: Don’t be so hard on yourself. Instead, use that energy to map out a strategical plan on how to fix WHAT you are frustrated with. Either pout about it or do something about it!
