Friday- Basically in the morning I Did some power snatches and power cleans. Then, I front squatted up to a solid 190kg, with 2 close misses at 200kg. In the PM I back squatted up to 212kg, then missed 222kg. Then, I hit 190×2, 195x3x2, 200kgx3x2 Saturday- I went up to 200kgx3x5
I got a nice hour long massage this morning so I was feeling pretty dang good heading into training. Power Snatch- up to 137.5kg (PR) with no misses, 140×0, then 120kgx2x2 Power Clean- up to 152kgx1, 157kgx0, 130kgx2x2 I’m pretty excited about the Power Snatch PR. Finally,

So I took the last 4-5 days and just squatted. I did that for a couple reasons. 1. My shoulder was continuing to get worse. 2. I Was just getting worse So, it paid off today. I hit 4 new Personal Records. I power snatched 132.5kg, 134, and 135kg. All were Personal Records for me. Then

It definitely looks like I “kicked” the bar out after it hit my hips too much. The bar should be much closer to my body. I was trying to whip my head back too much and then dive underneath it. I needed to pull it straight UP. I’m working on it…It’s a work
This is a pretty ugly split jerk. But, my clean limits my jerk. Meaning that I can jerk what I clean about 95% of the time (unless I Get light headed). So, I always take the jerk for granted. I know I don’t need to split that deep with this light of a weight, so I don’t. I
Again, the bar is a little too far away from me here. The mullet definitely steals the picture though. 🙂 Just gotta keep drilling the clean..This is what I need to work on the most (my clean). I have seen some decent progress over the last couple days with it as well.
