Nationals is about a week and a half away now. In case you missed it- it is on July 16th at 7pm (I lift at 7) in Council Bluffs, IA. My weight class is a very competitive class and should make for a great show. Tomorrow and friday the team is going to go lift at the NSCA Convention representing the product Rockin Refuel by Shamrock Farms, and also lifting at the Eleiko booth. Come check us out if you’re at the convention!
I wanted to send out another thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Especially those that donated to help me on my trip to China in August (I made the World University Team and would have been representing the US). Unfortunately, I didn’t end up raising enough money to be able to make the trip. I needed to raise about $3000 but really didn’t come close. I still have to let USA Weightlifting know I can’t make it, but I will do that soon. It breaks my heart that I can’t go, but to those of you who donated the $- that will go towards my expenses at nationals as well as the American Open later in December. It should cover my entire plane ticket. So thank you! I am not going to dwell on the fact that I can’t afford to make the trip, but rather just be grateful that I do have support and keep training hard!! Thanks again everyone.
