Today’s training was pretty rough. We started out the morning by snatching up to 130kg (286lbs), then coming back up on a 2nd wave up to 130kg again (286lbs). Then, I Clean and jerked up to 150kg (330lbs). Then, in the 2nd session I snatched up to 135kg with no misses, then missed 140kg. I dropped back down and came back up to 130kg, and missed 135kg.
Moved on to clean and jerks and went up to 150kg (330lbs). On 160kg I pretty much ripped off my thumbnail- so I had to stop and move on to front squats. I Front squatted up to 185kg (407lbs), then missed 195kg 2x. Then, came back up and hit 190kg, then 195kg (429lbs). Finished up with some ab work and stretching.
This whole week I have felt WEAK. I’m not sure why. We are starting to back off for the meet in 9 days, but, I still just feel generally weak. I don’t know what it is- but it’s a terrible feeling. I hope everything comes together when it is supposed to in 9 days. We’ll see I guess…The Arnold Classic is in 9 days in case you were wondering haha! It is a big national meet.
