I just wanted to do a little write-up on his season. I believe he pinned every single kid except 1. That kid was Tony Becker from Don Bosco, who he beat 7-3. That is an extremely impressive feat. I’m not sure what the exact # of people is that have pinned every kid throughout the season…but I guarantee it’s a very small amount. It just shows how dominant he was this year. He was levels above everyone else. About 10 levels. In fact, I think he would have pinned both the 2a and 3a champs as well. It is pretty mind boggling. I know it’s at a higher weight class, 215, which have a much higher % of pins than most other weight class (except heavyweight). However, even at state he pinned his kids in 1:57, 3:12, and :21 seconds in the SEMIFINALS!! Then a pin in 2:34 in the finals. I predicted a pin in 2:43 in the finals, so I was 9 seconds off…Not bad!

I was on the phone with a couple different people throughout every match all 5 of our kids wrestled. For Nate’s semifinals match IT WAS OVER BEFORE I EVEN GOT AN UPDATE HE WAS WRESTLING!! What the heck? Did he forget it’s the semifinals of state wrestling and you just don’t get the fastest pin of the tournament in the semifinals? Yep, he got the fastest pin of the State Tournament. Pretty sweet.
