After this weekends big event (Lifting Dreams Prom) in Graettinger, Iowa I will get to relax for a little while. Well, for about 2 weekends anyway. Then, the craziness of summer will hit. We have a bunch of seminars lined up as well as some new things happening (I am putting on a wrestling camp). I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am about this!
I am mostly excited about getting back to full training, though. I have had a wrist injury that’s been holding me up for the past month or so. I should get the “ok” to resume full training a week from today. I am already chomping at the bits and wanting to get after it right now. I know I need to be patient and smart about it, though. When I resume full training I will be exactly 12 weeks out from nationals. That sets up the perfect amount of time for a full training cycle.
I have been doing great on my bodyweight. All of last week I was hovering right at 91. Then, by the end of the week was hitting 90.6-90.8 on the last few weigh ins. I am certainly on the right track to be weighing 87.5kg in 8 weeks. I just have to be consistent. Anyway, that’s all for now. Everyone have a great Monday!
